Lion Brand® large-eyed blunt needle GAUGE 14 sc = about 4 in. (10 cm). 1 Granny Square = about 4 x 4 in. (10 x 10 cm). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. STITCH EXPLANATIONS dc2tog (dc 2 sts together) (Yarn over, insert hook in next st and draw up a loop, yarn over and draw through 2 loops) twice, yarn over and draw through all 3 loops on hook – 1 st decreased. dc3tog (dc 3 sts together) (Yarn over, insert hook in next st and draw up a loop, yarn over, draw through 2 loops) 3 times, yarn over and draw through all 4 loops on hook – 2 sts decreased. sc2tog (sc 2 sts together) (Insert hook in next st and draw up a loop) twice, yarn over and draw through all 3 loops on hook – 1 st decreased.





NOTES 1. Pullover is made from 4 pieces: Back, Front, and 2 Sleeves. 2. Back and Front are each made from 25 (30) Granny Squares sewn

together following Assembly Diagrams. Shoulders are worked, back and forth in rows, across top edge of assembled squares.

3. Each Granny Square is worked in joined rnds with RS always facing. 4. To change yarn color when making Granny Squares, fasten off old color

and join new color as instructed. If yarn color is not changed between rnds, do not fasten off, simply sl st in each st to the next corner ch-2 sp and then continue as if you had just joined a new color.

5. Change yarn color when making shoulders and Sleeves, as follows: a. To change yarn color from A to B, work last st of A to last yarn over.

Yarn over with B and draw up through all loops on hook to complete st. Proceed with B. Do not fasten off A. Not fastening off A will reduce the number of yarn ends to weave in later.

b. To change yarn color from B to A. Fasten off B. Do not turn work. From RS, insert hook in first st of previous row, yarn over with dropped strand of A and draw up a loop.
