Using 15.00mm needles - Colour 1 cast on 32sts.1st Row: K2, P2, repeat to end2nd Row: K2, P2, repeat to end

Work in stocking stitch for 4 rows.

Change to Colour 2 and work 4 rows stocking stitch.

Change back to Colour 1 and work another 4 rows stocking stitch.

Using Colour 2 start shaping the crown as follows – 1st Row: K1, *K2tog, K6, rep from * to last 7st, K2tog, K5. (28sts)2nd Row: P4, *P2tog, P5, rep from * to last ..3sts, P2tog, P1 (24sts)3rd Row: K1, *K2tog, K4, rep from * to last 5sts, K2tog, K3 (20sts)4th Row: P2, *P2tog, P3, rep from * to last 3sts, P2tog, P1 (16sts)Change to Colour 15th Row: K1, * K2tog, K1, rep from * to last st (11sts)6th Row: P2tog rep from * to last st, P1 (6sts)

Break off yarn leaving enough to thread through remaining stitches and join seams. Using this length of yarn to thread through the remaining stitches on your needle and draw up tightly and fasten off securely.
