Planning Ahead We made a Whatsapp group forcommunication Set up a Tumblr, Twitter, Instagram, Vine,and Bambuser Organised who brought what equipment Set a time and place to meet Looked up route and nearest Starbucks Practiced embedding on Tumblr 5. On the Day We arrived one hour before the protestwas due to start We found a Wifi spot (Starbucks) We set up live blogging and checked itworked We decided wed all go to the protest We introduced ourselves and helped theprotestors set up 6. What worked well? Our organisation meant that we got to the event an hourearlier and could speak to the protesters and helped themset up The protesters were very happy to talk to us We collectively compiled a lot of content! 14. What didnt work well? We didnt ask every protesters name We had a lot of trouble making the layout of tumblr howwe wanted it Our phones ran out of storage 15. What have we learned? We learnt that it is very beneficial to arrive at an eventearly That we should make sure we have enough storage onour phones We should find out as much information about the personwe are interviewing as possible
