Greg Perkins Named ‘Volunteer Retiree

of the Year’ for SHAPE community!

At a ceremony in the SHAPE club ballroom on April 17, Center

Director, Greg Perkins was named ‘Volunteer Retiree of the

Year” for the SHAPE/Chievres community for USAG Benelux.

Greg and his wife Michelle have been ministering at the Center

in the village of St. Denis since summer of 2014. Both are

dedicated volunteers serving the community, as well as,

pastoring at the Center. CONGRATULATIONS for this honor!

April was a big month for City Mission! After praying, looking for months, and saving, Pastor Nathan Burton was handed the keys to their truck/ van! It was a day long anticipated. It is already being put to use weekly delivering food, clothing, and household items to needy families in the Kaiserslautern community. We rejoice in this answer to prayer!

INSTALLATION AND REUNION WEEKEND WITH ALL NATIONS

The 18th and 19th of April was a very special time for the Mitchell family and all those who joined in the

installation service. The All Nations Center is a new church plant near Redstone Arsenal. Herman and

Doris Mitchell moved to the area in the summer of 2013 with a vision and burden to begin ministering

in the Huntsville community. Robert Moore Int. Coordinator for MTTM and Tommy Vallejos, former

Center Director in Hohenfels, Germany and founder of All Nations ministry there were the keynote

speakers for the event. Rev. Mitchell followed Vallejos in the ministry in Germany. This was an incredible

weekend as friends and family from Texas, Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Florida traveled

to honor the Mitchells. Helping to coordinate the event was SGM Willene Orr with Jerry Orr and

Catherine Robinson ministering in music. We are expecting great things ahead as God uses the

Mitchells in this community!

FRIENDS AND FAMILY GATHERED APRIL 18,19 IN MADISON, AL FOR THIS SPECIAL SERVICE

EUROPEAN SPRING CONFERENCE IN KAISERSLAUTERN

EUROPEAN SPRING CONFERENCE was held at City Mission on April 14 -18. Keynote Speaker was Pastor Mark Ryan, Senior Pastor of Birmingham Christian Center in England and former MTTM Center Director in Upper Heyford, England. Workshops were led by Robert Moore, Nathan Burton, Bridget Merhan, and Romeo Comarce. A special Leaders Fellowship meal was prepared on Thursday evening. The staff and members at City Mission went above and beyond in sacrificial service hosting, preparing food, providing childcare and music. Delegates traveled from England, Italy, Belgium, and Germany to attend the event.

CULPEPPER CSC – SEOUL, KOREA…….. on April 18th enjoyed a trip to the Olympic Park Gymnastic Stadium to hear HILLSONG in concert! It was an evening filled with worship and excitement.

CLARKVIEW CHRISTIAN CENTER – ANGELES, CITY, PHILIPPINES had a wonderful delegation that attended the 13th Philippine Church of God National Assembly April 28-30 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City. The theme for the meeting was “Bigger and Better”. Pastors Bong and Sharon Tiru led the group to this exciting meeting.

NEW HOPE CC in ANSBACH, GERMANY….traveled

to Garmisch, for a family retreat in late March.

Members had a great time of refreshing and

fellowship. Led by Pastors Percy and Patricia

Wilson of New Hope. Fellow Center Directors, Greg

and Michelle Perkins from SHAPE, Belgium also

attended.

MOTHER’S DAY OBSERVANCES ….were part of the special day on May 10th. Centers all over the world honored Mothers with breakfasts, lunches and dinners prepared by the men of the church. In Vilseck, Germany, Pastor Steve Edwards and the men prepared breakfast for the ladies. Pastor Drew Provazek and the men in Sigonella, Italy prepared a Mother’s Day luncheon. The ladies were blessed to be honored that weekend!
