The Second Amendment, right to bear arms

The song is a very blunt and straight to the point interpretation of the 2nd amendment, which is the right to bear arms. The song describes various incidents in which Miranda uses as reasons to why she should get a gun for protection. My neighbors car got stolen last night, right out of his driveway, Theyre making plans for a four way highway, and a big old overpass, Mary says shes worried about herself and her kids. Those are a lot of the incidents and reasons used by Miranda to get a gun, and getting a gun is protected with the right to bear arms.

She Keeps Me Warm- Mary LambertThe song derived from a song, that Lambert did with Macklemore called, Same Love. Both songs are based on gay rights and the protection of same sex marriage, which is related heavily to Mary Lambert. She is a lesbian artist who said she wanted to provide visibility for a lesbian and gay relationship.
