Période Contemporaine BIOGRAPHIE Gabriela A. Frei a récemment terminé son doctorat en histoire au Merton College, Université d'Oxford. Au travers de sa thèse « Great Britain, International Law, and the Evolution of Maritime Strategic Thought, 1856-1914 » elle a examiné le rôle du droit international pour la réalisation de la stratégie maritime britannique avant la Première Guerre mondiale. Ses intérêts de recherche portent sur l'histoire de la guerre, l'histoire des lois de la guerre, et la relation entre le droit, la politique et la stratégie. Elle est détentrice d’une maîtrise en études et recherche historique de l'Université d'Oxford et un Philosophiae Licentiata (histoire, droit constitutionnel, et en littérature anglaise) de l'Université de Berne. En 2013, elle a reçu une bourse de recherche de Brandon au Centre Lauterpacht pour ses recehrches en droit international à l'Université de Cambridge. BIBLIOGRAPHIE
