DIGITAL SURF PRESENTATION / KNOWHOW A TECHNOLOGY LEADER IN SURFACE IMAGING & METROLOGY SOFTWARE Founded in 1989, DIGITAL SURF is a specialist in surface imaging and metrology software. The company’s Mountains® software (running under Windows) was launched in 1996. Now a standard in research and industry, Mountains® has been adopted by over 20 leading instrument manufacturers and has a worldwide installed base of over 10,000 software licences. MOUNTAINS® SOFTWARE – MAKING A BIG DIFFERENCE BY FOCUSING ON THE VERY SMALL Understanding surface characteristics on very small scales is an imperative in science, technology and industry because it tells us a lot about how things work and behave. Data on small scale surfaces is obtained using microscopes, profilometers, spectrometers, and other imaging and metrology systems. Working with these instruments, Mountains® software makes it possible to visualize surface data, to enhance image quality, to analyze surface data in accordance with the latest standards and methods, and to create accurate surface metrology reports.

SMART SENSOR CIRRUS 3D
NEW AND KEY PRODUCTS Cirrus 3D: Smart 3D sensor with a structured blue LED light, this autonomous smart Sensor "Plug & Work" is intended to be integrated into all processes and robotic or not on any kind of 3D solutions. Eyesberg 3D by VISIO NERF, based on tested and reliable technology. The basic principle involves associating, in real time, a cluster of 3D points acquired by a vision PLCcontrolled laser scanner with the part’s surface CAD model. The software then requires only a small portion of the part (like the visible part of an iceberg) to identify and locate the part in the work area. Eyesberg® solutions can be combined on a single vision PLC (e.g. 3D identification/3D tracking, ED identification/3D measurement) in order to meet complex requirements using standard tools.
