Positional Artillery: 1792-1800 All French Royalist artillery is considered to be positional artillery. Their
cannon typically was 2nd rate and some came from captured French fortress stocks. See positional artillery rule at front under National rules.
Raw Recruit: 1792-1793 See rule at front under National rules. Vendean and Chouan CMR determination: 1792-1796 During these years, the uprisings in western France created local levies
against the Republican government. Their combative action varied greatly…so to create atmosphere, the player rolls a 6D for each unit’s first MC or Shock action. This 6D roll sets the CMR starting value for the balance of the game.

In 1798, the Army of Conde was formed as a Russian division. In 1800, the remains of the Army of Conde re-joined Austrian service. In 1801, several units entered British service or remained as Austrian regiments into the Napoleonic wars. By 1802, the Army of Conde was a page of history.
