Learn French and be immersed in the culture of the French Riviera for three weeks in Nice, France. No previous knowledge of French is required. Enjoy the Mediterranean climate, hospitality, culture, and food, and benefit from the cultural activities available due to the prox- imity to the sea. Because of Nice’s location, it is easy to visit other parts of the Riviera and of Provence such as Antibes, Cannes, Les Iles de Lérins, the Monastery of Lérins, the fortress of the Man in the Iron Mask, Beaulieu sur Mer, Villa Kerylos, and Eze. We will also visit Monaco and its famed city of Monte Carlo. Attend classes while meeting students from around the world in a French language school in the Liberation-Borriglione quarter. Its heart is an open-air market where we can practice conversational French among the more than 120 stalls offering local produce. Participants will also have opportunities to practice speaking in restaurants, shops, train stations, offices, and among local inhab- itants. Students will learn alongside students from around the world and will have opportunities to partake in optional activities ranging from scuba diving to museum visits to custom making their own perfume. LOCATION Situated between the Mediterranean and the mountains of the Alps, Nice is your home for a three-week immersion in French language and culture. The city has an extraordinary cultural and artistic heritage thanks to the contributions of great painters such as Monet, Picasso, Matisse; writers including F. Scott Fitzgerald, Ernest Hemingway, Friedrich Nietzsche as well as musicians. The Provencal cuisine is world renowned.

ACCOMODATIONS You will live in homestays with local families, enjoying breakfast and dinner with them. Bus/tram transportation around the city is included.
