Kindergarten Out and About!

This term Kindergarten has made the most of the beautiful

weather by participating in new fitness and sport activities,

concentrating on fundamental movement skills and

gymnastics. They have also been practising their tennis

skills and were rewarded with their own tennis racket and

Hot Shots T-shirt from Tennis Australia. They showed lots of

enthusiasm and potential so we hope that they continue

with this great sport.

In Stephanie Alexander Cooking lessons Kindergarten

prepared and cooked tomato and basil pizzas. They were

fascinated with the rising of the dough and all except one

found them delicious!

We are looking forward to Intensive Swimming starting in

Week 7 & 8. All levels of swimmers will be catered for with

qualified instructors and extra teachers in the water. Water

safety will also be taught, so important in our coastal

climate where children spend so much time in the water.

Remembrance Day

Today we held a Remembrance Day

assembly to honour those men and women

who have died or suffered in all wars,

conflicts and peace operations. Students,

staff and community members attended our assembly.

Some students brought in war memorabilia to share with

the school community and spoke about relatives who

served in World War II.

Coffs Harbour High School Parent Information Night

A reminder for parents of Year 6 students attending Coffs Harbour High School next year that

there is a Parent Information Session on Tuesday night. The night will commence at 5.30 and will

be held in the school hall.

Congratulations to the following students who received an award today at assembly
