The River Reach Foundation & Fore! Corners Disc Golf partner for this Sanctioned PDGA Event in the Berg and Animas Parks, Farmington NM. Disc Golf Tournament: Saturday: all day, Animas Parklands Tournament Central is at Rocky Reach Landing. 2 rounds, 18 holes. This is a temporary disc golf course. The tournament will be played with portable baskets, so please bring your portable baskets if you have them. Registration-day of up to Tee. K-9 Demonstration The Arena @ River Reach Terrace, Sat 4pm. Field

Demonstration. The Farmington Police Department K-9 Unit is a specialized divi-sion of the Farmington Police Department consisting of four dog-handler teams. The focus of the K-9 Unit is to reduce the number of man-hours spent on calls and increase the safety of officer involved calls in unknown circumstances. See the FPD K9s in action as they conduct a field demonstration. Officers and their K9s will be available for a meet and greet immediately following the demonstration. K-9 teams respond to violent calls, building searches related to alarms or reports of forced en-try, fleeing subjects, searches for missing persons, and other calls where officers may be going into unknown circumstances. Hosted by the Farmington Police De-partment.
