8. Chainsaw Operations Level 1 with Mal Hall T/A Complete
Vegetation Management Training.
This two day course allows for safe operation and effective maintenance of chainsaws. Units covered are AHCWHS201 Participate in work health and safety processes; AHCMOM213 Operate and maintain chainsaws; FWPCOT2239 Trim and cut felled trees. Day one will be classroom based and day two will be practical in the field. Students are required to wear steel capped boots on day 2 and travel to a timber site is required.
