SCHOOL IMPROVEMENTS New Ipads: The start of next year will see 70 new ipads into our P – 2 area. Our prep grades will have 30 ipads to share between 2 classes and our 1/2 classes shall have 40 new ipads to share between the 4 grades (20 housed upstairs and 20 housed downstairs).

New student laptops: The start of next year will also see 50 new student laptops into our 3 – 6 classroom learning areas. These laptops will complement laptops already in these areas, along with the increased desktops deployed from the computer lab. This will make for a very exciting time throughout our school as we enhance our work utilising ICT equipment to support enhanced stu-dent learning.

New school sign: You may have been past the front of our school and noticed our new sign (near the front brick fence). It looks fabulous and will be a terrific way for our school to communicate key activities with our school community and also showcase the great work we do to our wider community.

Electrical connection and cabling will occur over the holiday period,

ready for action for the start of the new term.

WOW! We have a lot to look forward to in 2019!

We wish all of our 2018 Year 6 Graduates all the best for their future endeavours!

A HUGE THANK YOU A HUGE THANK YOU to all of our wonderful parents who have assisted us throughout the year in a huge number of ways. Whether it is helping in the Canteen or Breakfast Club, attending Camps or Excursions, being part of School Council or assisting in your child’s classroom, your help and contributions are greatly appreciated. We look forward to your continued support in 2018 in ensuring our students continue to get the greatest opportunities at Frankston Primary School. Jo Booth (AP)

FRANKSTON PRIMARY SCHOOL’S PERFORMING CHOIR

Our Performing Choir visited Bayside and Myer in Frankston last Wednesday bringing joy to our local community as they sang Christmas Carols. The children were very excit-ed to perform and the reception they got was wonderful. A huge thanks to Sally Grage Moore for the wonderful work she has done in preparing our School Choir for these performances. If you missed them don’t be disappointed as they are visiting again this Wednesday 19th December at 11:45am starting just outside Target.
