FVS Recycling NewsK, 1st, 2nd & 3rd Grades participated in recycling last week. These were normal items from the classroom including mixed papers, milk cartons, magazines, etc. Each class total was:K 20lbs.. 1st 5lbs.. 2nd 15lbs.. 3rd 17lbs(some classes do this all year but results aren’t weighed or posted)Classes also received information for kids to check out the website www.epa.gov/kids where they will find interesting information, stories and games to help them with recycling and more. Thank you to the FVS teachers who take the recyclables themselves each week (sadly there is no budget for a recycling dumpster at our school).
