Housekeeping begins at 8.45am and speakers at 9.00am. By Car Please ensure you purchase a parking ticket. They are $2 for 5 hours. Please park near the Melbourne Zoo, Main Gate entrance. By Train Royal Park station is directly across the road from the Zoo. Cross the road and walk 5-10 minutes, following the red brick fence to the main gate. Bong Su Room Named after Melbourne Zoos first bull elephant and a true gentle giant, the Bong Su Room is located on Trail Of the Elephants. Please follow directions from our conference volunteers to make your way there. Departing for the Botanic Gardens At 12.10pm, we’ll have lunchboxes ready to go. It’s a moveable feast, lunch at the Zoo, lunch on the tram or lunch at the Botanic Gardens. It’s up to you! Our afternoon session starts at 1.30 pm at the Botanic Gardens. Tram 58 leaves from Elliott Avenue, Royal Park. (Follow the yellow arrows on the map.) Not from Melbourne? Befriend one of our tram marshalls and let them give you a guided tour along the way!
