Amelie ; Cinematic Impressionism

• The chromatic pattern of Amelie are directly inspired by painting from Impressionism to contemporary artist.

• The Luncheon at the Boating Party (1881), play a key role in the film.

• This particular painting was chosen because it had a number of character.

• Impressionist painting more generally has inspired the brightly-it set and warm color of Amelie, especially in outdoor scene.
