FROM THE CAPTAINGreetings Krewe of Apollo! I have been busy rebuilding after the Harvey flood and my home is nearing completion. So it is time to get down to business. Our first major party to kick off the Mardi Gras season is the Royalty Announcement Party. It will be held at the OLD GOVERNORS MANSION at 502 North Blvd. Baton Rouge, Louisiana from 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm on October 13, 2018. All krewe members will receive 1 ticket to the party and for all guests and general public there will be a $30.00 ticket price which includes great food and entertainment by FIRST CLASS from Lafayette with vocalist Kay Klienpeter. There will be a cash bar for your choice of beverages.
Join me in welcoming our reigning royalty KING & QUEEN APOLLO XXXVII CHRIS TRAINER AND JACOB LACARA as we announce our royalty elect KING & QUEEN APOLLO XXXVIII.
Please all members that have not paid their dues or made arrangement make those arrangements now. I will be making table assignments at the end of October and I need a complete membership roster.

It is time to elect the 2019-2020 officers and at-large board members for the Mystic Krewe of Apollo Baton Rouge. After reviewing all the nominations received and contacting candidates, the following individuals have offered to serve in leadership positions this year. Several are unopposed, but we do need your votes for vice president and for five (5) board members.
In addition, we have several proposed amendments to our Constitution/Bylaws. (See reverse side/next page.)
You may vote for various candidates and for the proposed amendments by completing this ballot and returning it before our general meeting on October 14, 2018.
