Front Grille Rivet [2x]Warning: Use the proper eye protection when drilling to prevent metal chips from

causing physical injury. ProcedureDrill and remove the two upper rivets from the front bumper upper fascia.

Front GrilleProcedure

1. Reposition the wiring harness.

2. Release the front grille from the front bumper fascia grille tabs.

3. Pull the front grille from the backside of the front bumper fascia.

4. Transfer components as necessary.

Front Lower GrilleProcedure

1. Place the bumper fascia face down on a clean protected surface.

2. Using a suitable trim tool, release the locking tabs while carefully pulling the front upper grille from the front fascia.


Note: Each individual front bumper fascia tab must be secure to each slot in the radiator grille prior to reassembly of the fascia to the vehicle.

Front Bumper Fascia Bolt[8x]Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution. Tighten2.5 Y (22 lb in)

2 Front Bumper Fascia Retainer[2x]

3 Front Bumper FasciaProcedure

1. Carefully push a small nylon wedge between the fascia and the front fascia guide.Insert a small flat-bladed tool into the fascia slot and depress the snaps one at a time and pull on the fascia at the same time to gradually remove the fascia from the front fascia guide.

2. Using a small flat-bladed tool, release the tabs under the headlamp.© 2017 General Motors. All rights reserved.




3. Disconnect the electrical connectors.

1. Remove the left front tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation

2. Front Tire Front Air Deflector (2) » Remove — Front Tire Front Air Deflector Replacement




3. Front Compartment Splash Shield (2) » Remove — Front Compartment Splash Shield Replacement

4. Front Wheelhouse Liner Screw (1) » Remove [10X]

5. Front Wheelhouse Liner Retainer (2) » Remove



6. Front Wheelhouse Liner Screw (1) » Remove [6X]

7. Front Wheelhouse Liner (2) » Remove

Installation Procedure

1. Front Wheelhouse Liner (3) » Install

2. Front Wheelhouse Liner Retainer (2) » Install

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution3. Front Wheelhouse Liner Screw (1) » Install and tighten [10X]2.5 Y (22 lb in)



4. Front Wheelhouse Liner Screw (1) » Install and tighten [6X]2.5 Y (22 lb in)

5. Front Compartment Splash Shield (2) » Install — Front Compartment Splash Shield Replacement



6. Front Tire Front Air Deflector (2) » Install — Front Tire Front Air Deflector Replacement

7. Install the left front tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation

1 Front Fender Wheel Opening Molding Retainer [7x]

Front Fender Wheel Opening MoldingProcedure

1. Apply two layers of masking tape around the top edge of the front wheel opening molding to prevent any paint surface damage.

2. Using a suitable flat bladed plastic tool, release the retainers from around the front bumper fascia and the front fender.

3. Pull upward to release the molding from the front bumper lower fascia.

4. Using a 50/50 mixture of isopropyl alcohol and clean drinkable water and a clean towel, remove the left over adhesive residue from the masking tape.

5. Disconnect the electrical connector.
