Who Should Attend Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Nurses, Complementary & Alternative Medicine Practitioners, Dieticians Course Summary Our second annual Frontiers in Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition is a two-day program designed for academic and community pediatric gastroenterologists, pediatric GI fellows, pediatric GI nurse practitioners, PAs, and primary care physicians. This year, we have added breakout sessions that will be beneficial for healthcare professionals as well as patient support groups. The topics on day 1 will include IBD (inflammatory bowel disease), constipation, intestinal dysmotility, functional abdominal pain, and pediatric liver diseases. The topics on day 2 will include GI issues in ASD (autism spectrum disorder), food allergies, celiac disease, and others. This symposium is intended to address several important clinical gaps in practice by providing a comprehensive review as well as information on new advances in diagnosis and treatment options in these areas. The symposium will consist of lectures, breakout sessions, Q&A sessions and panel discussions during lunch to include both formal and interactive learning formats. Learning Objectives Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to: •  Identify the latest treatment options for inflammatory bowel disease

(IBD) •  Describe the latest research in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) •  Improve outcomes and quality of life for patients with IBD •  Implement ways to better manage complicated defecation disorders •  Summarize the physical and behavioral components of functional GI

disorders •  Examine new diagnostic and therapeutic options for autoimmune

hepatitis and primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC) •  Develop effective treatment strategies for non-alcoholic fatty liver

disease (NAFLD) •  Learn the latest research and assess new diagnostic tests in celiac
