September is Suicide Prevention Month The designated month may be over, but we should be aware of these signs, symptoms, and resources all year long. Read this important article on how you can help prevent suicide. http://support.militaryfamily.org/site/R?i=vM1Y12jczakK2GBcgPsQqw
Ninety percent of suicides occur in people with a mental health issue. So it's vitally important that service members and their families are
aware of the symptoms of PTSD and depression, and have an opportunity to explore their own feelings with online, anonymous screenings. Military Pathways, a DoD-funded initiative, offers these screenings at www.MilitaryMentalHealth.org
