Hospitalization & Healthcare Benefits
What is Veterans Hospitalization Program (VHP)?A program that provides hospitalization and medical care benefits to Filipino veterans and their dependents through VMMC and other PVAO-VMMC accredited government and private hospitals nationwide to address the health care needs of the veterans and their qualified dependents who do not have convenient access to VMMC especially those from far flung areas and to provide partial subsidy for the hospitalization expenses and reimbursement of certain select procedures andadditional benefits.Benefits In-patient medical subsidy of PhP 1,200 per day of confinement at any of the 599 government hospitals nationwide serving as VMMC extension hospitals in the regions / provinces May be discounted prior to patient discharge or may be reimbursed); Maximum of 45 days per year per patient

REVALIDATION PROGRAM
What is PVAO Revalidation Program ?Mechanism to establish living status and validate identity and legitimacy as pensioners to ensure funding of their benefits by the Department of Budget and Management as well as the continuous remittance of their pension/s. It is also a means to safeguard the integrity of the pensioners list by that pensions are received only by eligible and legitimate pensioners to effectively prevent losses to the government.
All Pensioners of PVAO must submit Revalidation Papers, With the following requirements:A. Personal Appearancea) Recently taken 2x2 pictureb) back-to-back photocopy of pensioners 2 valid IDsB. Non-appearancea) Duly accomplished Pensioner Update Form b) 3R size photo showing front page of latest newspaper and c) Back-to-back photocopy of pensioners 2 valid IDsd) Authorization letter and photocopy of authorized representatives 2 valid IDs For pensioners below 85 years old once a year during pensioners birth month For pensioners who are 85 years old and above twice a year every six months at PVAO Field Service Extension Office No. 1, Ricarte National Shrine
