Participants agreed with the proposed scenarios Participation:
Laos = observers Indonesia = building collapse (20 responders) China = CBRN (20 – 30 responders); RTA & HAZMAT
(25 responders); building collapse and flood (30 responders) China requested for a separate location for their CISAR Site plan of the venue will be proposed in FPC SAR Team will consist of a collaboration team with
other countries Korea = to be confirmed (CBRN, HAZMAT, building
collapse and medical)
SAR WORKING GROUP
• 1. Reporting mechanism from foreign country to host .. refer to operational framework slide• Ground operational issue: reporting to commander medical
teams to on site
• 2. Logistic of medical assistance• Water supply and water purification• specific personnel identification of medical teams i.e emergency
physician/surgeon/specialized teams• volunteers for stretcher bearers • medical tent cleanliness, and sterility• medical waste management• medical staff hygiene• liaison officer at strategic place i.e evacuation camp• Field hospital, medical base station

• 2 Comms persons from Malaysia will be assigned to each of the foreign response entities
• All four sites will be connected to the EOC via voice and data
• Internet will be available at EOC
COMMUNICATION WORKING GROUP
• Discussions are going on with Mercy Malaysia and China giving a lot of inputs both in the assets side and plan / layout of the evacuation centre.A number of new inputs are being discussed at the moment. AHA and OCHA are also coming in.
