38th International C. B. Paul Science Quiz Bronze International 2. ANNUAL SCHOOL-BASED HEALTH SCREENING (28thJun to 8thJuly) The secondary school health team will be visiting our school from 28thJune to 8th July to conduct the annual health screening for students in Secondary 1, 2, 4 and some selected Sec 3 students. During this visit, the health team will need all relevant past and current medical information about your child, and your consent to give the immunisation, where indicated. Your child / ward will be informed of his / her health screening date and time. 3. TEMPERATURE TAKING EXERCISE As part of the emergency preparedness and good practices, a temperature-taking exercise will be conducted on 30thJun (Term 3, Week 1). This temperature-taking exercise will also serve to educate students on the need to take personal

responsibility for their own health and to practice social responsibility. Kindly assist us by reminding your child to bring his/her personal oral digital thermometer. 4. MARSILING COMMUNITY DAY AND FUCHUN HOMECOMING The school will be hosting the Marsiling Community Day on 16th July in the school compound. Fuchun Homecoming will also be held concurrently from 9:00 am to 12 pm.Tickets are priced at $5 and can be purchased from our General Office. Participants can look forward to receiving goodie bag, a chance at the lucky draw, having delicious food and playing at the game stalls. 5. PRELIMINARY EXAMINATIONS FOR SEC 4 and 5 The school will be conducting the 'N' Preliminary Examinations for Sec 4N/T students on 12thAugust for English Language and 19thAug – 25thAug for the other subjects. The ‘O’ Preliminary Examinations for 4E/5N students will be on 31stAugust for English Language and 14thSep – 23rdSep for the other subjects. The detailed examination schedule will be issued to your child. Lessons will continue as per normal after the Preliminary Examinations. Please note that attendance in school during this period is crucial in ensuring that your child is well prepared for the National Level Examinations. 6. 7. TERM 3 VACATION (3rd to 11th SEPT) The school vacation will begin on 3rd Sept and will end on 11th Sept. The school will be conducting classes and enrichment programmes for selected groups of students. You will be kept informed of these classes and programmes through your child. Attendance for these classes is compulsory. Students are expected to return to school to start term 4 on 13th Sept, in proper school attire with appropriate hair style/colour. 8.
