• Supported by U.S. and host country budget

• The world’s largest educational exchange program

• Number of participating countries 150

• Fulbright Commissions in 50 countries

• Number of grantees between 1946-2009 cca. 300,000

(105,000 U.S. citizens, 195,000 non-U.S.)

• Fulbright Commission in Hungary since 1992

• Annual number of grantees:

30-35 American citizens, 30-35 Hungarian citizens
