A Message from Your Senior Club President,

Pauline Aguero:

The Winter Wonderland Social has come and gone. A big

thank-you to the donors who contributed to the prizes:

Senior Club members Keith Carpenter, Vicki Colvin,

Diane Luna, as well as CSUF, Polly’s Pies, and

Rutabegorz.

The next Polly’s Dine-In fundraiser will be on May 3.

The Social Committee is busy working on our Spring

Festival Social on May 17th. Look for information in

upcoming Newsletter.

The Human-Interest story has been renamed Paulette’s

Corner. Please check out this month’s Paulette’s Corner,

which features our very own Cowboy Jack; a very

interesting member of the Senior Club. We are still

looking for stories to tell in upcoming Newsletters.

Contact the Membership Desk if you are interested.

We are still in need of a Computer and Software

Maintenance volunteer to maintain our Club computers.

Please contact the Membership Desk if you are

experienced and interested.

I have had a lot of feedback on new activities people are

trying. We should continue to experiences all the

opportunities the Senior Club has to offer. I would enjoy

hearing more from you about your experiences.

Let’s take a moment to celebrate the lives of . . .

M eet Cowboy Jack! Jack has been coming to the Fullerton Senior Center for ten years. Everyone knows him as Cowboy Jack,

because he wears a cowboy hat and he is also known as a Willie Nelson lookalike. He was even in an event in Fullerton portraying the famous singer. Jack loves karaoke. He loves to sing old country songs and even sang a Ray Price song to a Fullerton policeman. Next time you see him, ask him to tell you the story behind that! Jack also loves cats and had nineteen cats at one point. Currently, he only has two. Jack previously had some heart problems, but he is doing much better now. We are glad to have him back—he is like a fixture to the center. He can always be found doing his favorite thing which is putting puzzles together in the library - stop by and say howdy!
