Fulton manufactures acomplete line of electricsteam boilers from 12 kW to 1000 kW (1.2 to 100 BHP)up to 300 PSI for heatingand process applications.Fulton's vertical design is a fullpackaged steam boiler built to ASME specifications and applicable standardsand codes. They are very efficient because the heating elements

are totally immersed in water and thepressure vessel is fully insulated.Radiation losses are minimal. With acarefully calculated heat to steam ratio,operating pressures are achievedquickly with maximum efficiency. Electric boilers have nowasted fuel going out the stack asassociated with fossil fuels, therefore,electric boilers are environmentallyfriendly. No NOx (nitrogen oxides) are being transmitted to the atmosphere.

Stainless steel heating elementsFulton uses low watt density elements*made of stainless steel. Stainless willnot melt or anneal as easily as copperelements. The small 12 to 36 kW boilersuse horizontally mounted elements atthe bottom.

Unit 2 - 36 kW (3.6 BHP) 15 PSIG electricsteam boiler with 3 kW electric steamsuperheater skid mounted and pre- pipedwith return system and chemical feed system. Explosion proof, Class 1,Group C, D DN 1. All controls, instrumentation by Fulton including single source power connection. Thisunit is used for manufacturing/sterilizationof surgical equipment.

50 to 1000 kW elementsmount verticallyCan be serviced and periodically maintained simply by unbolting the element(s) from the flanges in the top of the boiler's "head". Expansionand contraction of the top mounted elements cause scale to flake off and drop to the bottom of the boiler.Strategically located 3" x 4"handholes allow easy inspection andperiodic clean-out maintenance.

The element(s) are easily accessible--permit quick removal for service orinspection. Heating element thermostatsare optional.
