“Acolloidis:Astateofmatterinwhichthematterisdispersedinordistributedthroughoutsomemediumcalledthedispersionmedium.Thematterthusdispersediscalledthedispersephaseofthecolloidsystem.Theparticlesofthedispersephasearelargerthantheordinarycrystalloidmolecule,butnotlargeenoughtosettleoutundertheinfluenceofgravity.”107

According to Remington’s Pharmaceutical Sciences: “Colloidal mineral particles each consist ofmanyaggregates, and each aggregate contains many molecules.” Thus, it stands to reason that colloidalmineralsexistinparticlesizesmanytimeslargerthansomeothermineralforms.

Becauseoftheirsize,colloidalmineralsarenotabsorbedbythebody109.
