Planning our events:
■ What will incentivize employees to attend event?
– Prizes (Fitbits, bikes, ect.)
– Giveaways (Cake, Jamba Juice, cookies)
■ Secure date and location
– Make sure location is a high-traffic area and convenient for employees
■ Stick to budget
■ Invite TRP / Maricopa County Representative to attend
■ Secure laptops for employees to register on ShareTheRide.com
■ Print flyers about program
■ Coordinate with facilities to request items needed (tables, chairs, etc.)
■ Make signs for day of event
■ Make sure you have enough supplies
Promoting the events to employees:
■ Internal Communication via email a couple of weeks before event
■ Internal Communication via email the day before the event as
reminder
– Include what prizes will be given out to increase participation
– Include description of TRP
– Make it sound fun!

■ Set up signs and balloons to attract employees
