Over 3 400 men, women, and children are counted as homeless in Calgary.

2 800 homeless people sleep in shelters every night including 145 families with children.

Many people think that homeless people are just a bunch of drunks and addicts, who are too lazy to work.

But that is NOT true, only 30% of homeless people have addiction problems, 53% suffer from mental illnesses.

There are over 304 children in Calgary that are homeless
