WelcomeThere are so many reasons to celebrate throughout the year and The Ashby Bar and Bistro would like to help you celebrate them all!

Whether you are looking at hosting a wedding, milestone birthday celebration, engagement party, christmas party festivities, cocktail event or group function, we have a range of areas to suit.

FUNCTION AREASUPPER ALFRESCOSet the ambience of your function with the Upper Alfresco area perfect for up to 100. Located across from the Craft Bar this area is ideal for birthdays, engagements and social gatherings.

Area Hire fee applies - contact for further information.

LOWER ALFRESCOSoak up the sun & fresh air in our Lower Alfresco area. The Alfresco is perfect for the summer months, and super cosy in winter as outside heaters provide the warmth required during those not so sunny days.

Ideal for those small to large stand up functions of up to 200 guests wanting after work drinks, sundowners or a big birthday celebration.

With our Super LED screen it is a great place to get together for those major sporting events.

For exclusive use - minimum spend is required.

DINING AREAThe Bistro is a popular choice for seated events that include group functions, family get togethers and celebrations. Great for guests who desire the full casual dining experience. We can cater for up to 200 guests.

SPORTS BARIf you’re a sporting enthusiast, the Sports Bar is the perfect space for you and your guests to feel relaxed while enjoying your favourite sport on our multiple screens. Ideal for casual drinks with friends or those pre and post sporting celebrations we can cater for up to 300 guests.

1. CONFIRMATIONS & BOOKINGSBookings for a function or area to be held are only confirmed once the terms and conditions have been signed and payment of deposit confirmation has been accepted.

2. MINIMUM SPENDSThe venue reserves the right to request a minimum spend depending on factors such as: time/date of year, area required and number of guests. The Ashby Bar and Bistro will advise of minimum spends during the booking process.

3. FUNCTION SPACESWe have a range of indoor and outdoor function spaces to suit any occasion. You’re welcome to request a specific area or we can recommend a space depending the size of your event. Its important to note that while you will have exclusive use of your reserved table/space, it’s not necessarily the entire function area which maybe split between several events.

4. FINAL NUMBERS AND MENU SELECTIONAll mentioned prices are is inclusive of GST, and are current at the time of printing, but can be subject to change. All quoted items must be paid IN FULL, a minimum 14 days prior to your event.

5. RESERVED AREASReserved areas only held for a period of 30 minutes from time of booking. The Ashby Bar and Bistro is not responsible for the service disruption caused by late guests.

6. FINAL PAYMENTAny additional charges must be settled at the conclusion of the function.

7. CANCELLATIONSFees will apply to all cancelled event bookings. Event bookings will need to give 10 days’ notice to receive a full refund. Any function cancellation that does not give the relevant notice, will forfeit the agreed deposit or payment(s) made to the venue.

8. DAMAGENo liability is accepted by the venue for loss or damage of patron/s property. The event organiser is responsible for any damage to the venue caused by themselves or their guests.

9. DRESS CODEIt is a requirement of the event organiser/client that the guest attending the event are informed of the dress code and any requirements. Please refer to our website for further information.

10. DECORATIONS & EQUIPMENTIf you are thinking of having a theme for your event you are able to decorate your area with, flowers banners and balloons. Confetti, glitter, nails, tape or unweighted balloons are not permitted. Items such as cakes (cakeage fee applies), balloons and photo boards can be dropped off prior to the event. Please specify in advance if you will need addition time and how long before the function to decorate the space.

11. LIQUOR ACT AND MINORSAll guests must be 18 or over to consume alcohol and are expected to provide legal identification when requested. Minors (under 18) will be allowed to attend your function, under the supervision of a direct parent or guardian ONLY. We ask parents to arrange to have minors leave the venue by 9pm.

12. RESPONSIBLE SERVICE OF ALCOHOLWe reserve the right to refuse the supply of alcoholic beverages to any guest(s) attending the venue that are underage, intoxicated or display suspicious or offensive behaviour in accordance with house policy and the Liquor Control Act 1988.

13. SECURITYThe client is responsible for conducting their function in an orderly manner and in full compliance with all applicable laws. The Ashby reserves the right to intervene or eject any guests from the function if their actions are considered illegal, noisy or offensive. A security charge of $55 per hour (min 3 Hours) applies to functions where it is deemed required in line with The Ashby policies ie: 18th & 21st Birthdays.

The Ashby is a fully licensed venue therefore photo ID is required at all times, the only accepted forms of ID are: Passport, WA Driver’s License, WA Proof of Age Card. Management has the right to refuse entry to any person at their discretion.
