FUNCTIONS PACKAGE SEFTON PLAYHOUSE


The Sefton Playhouse is a great venue which specializes in functions. We have two options to choose from whether it be a private function room with full bar facilities

and private rest rooms to areas we can section off in the main bar area.

FACTORY 54 ROOMIn our Function room “Factory 54”you will be delighted to find plush furnishings with a much

larger bar catering for a maximum of 160 guests. You may hire the Factory 54 room exclusively provided you have a minimum of 60 guests.

You also have the option of entering Factory 54 function room through a private entrance which leads from the car park directly into the function room.

*No Smoking is permitted in either area however an indoor smoking area is located within the hotel.

BAR ACCOUNT If you wish to provide drinks for your guests a “dry till” can be arranged.

Please discuss with our functions coordinator what you would like to offer your guests, whether it is beer, wine and soft drinks or beer, wine and mixed drinks. We can tailor a package to suit

your specific needs. You will be required to spend a minimum amount on the bar which is determined by the amount of guests attending and area you wish to hire. Drinks will be rung up on a till as they are served, so a

subtotal can be provided at any point during the function. We will accept cash or credit cards as payment but no cheques.

*Payment must be made prior to commencement of bar tab.

FOOD If you wish to provide your guests with food we recommend platters of finger food.

This is done by nominating platters from our finger food menu or alternatively you may wish to choose one of our set menu options. The food account is to be settled with the manager on

duty at the start of the function.

MUSIC & ENTERTAINMENT The hotel provides an extensive range of music for our clientele. We can provide you with a DJ, Juke Box or a band provided we have two weeks’ notice. We can provide a DJ for the night at

a cost of $500. If you wish to provide your own DJ you will need to provide all of your own equipment. Drums of any sort are no longer permitted in the venue unless being played in

conjunction with a band and having prior approval of the functions coordinator. You may supply your own IPOD.

The dancer will perform 3 podium dancers every hour. 15 minute each. 5 minute break between each podium dance.

You will receive two 10 minute fully nude shows, One show every hour (Only be offered in factory 54)

Security will be positioned within venue at entrance from main bar Three dancers for a period of 4 hours

Music Supplied by venue through Night life system At 11pm the factory 54 private function room will cease trading and all guests will be invited into

the main bar area to continue the celebration.

FUNCTIONS MAIN BAR If you were after a more intimate function we do have options to suit. We can section off an area in

the main bar for as little as 10 guests through to 40 guests.

POOL TABLE – MAIN BAR AREA ONLYThe pool table can be reserved if you are holding your function in the main bar area.

If you are hiring a section in the main bar we are able to by-pass the coin up policy making the pool table free to play for all your guests. It will be at a cost of $150 and will be payable

on arrival. 2 week notice required.

WAIT STAFF The food service is a very important part of the function. We have an option to formalize your

function at a reasonable rate. We can supply wait staff to serve your guests our delicious finger food individually and more frequently. The wait staff will greet your guests and give them the

attention they deserve. The wait staff is charged at $200 per waiter / waitress. (Minimum of two staff Required per function).

Please notify the functions coordinator of any known dietary requirements prior to the event as they may not be accommodated on the day.To confirm your order we will require 7 day notice along with a 50% deposit which is payable to the functions coordinator.



YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESIf your guests do not arrive at the prearranged time, all food will be then available when

time permits.Alterations made to the menu will void prearranged service times.

The host of the party must arrive prior to 8pm unless prior arrangements have been made. It is your responsibility to inform your guests that entry into the venue may be restricted after 1am.

We will need a complete guest list including first name and surnames of all attendees and will require this one week prior to function date.

Capacity crowd numbers are strictly adhered to.

FUNCTION BONDA bond of $500 is payable to confirm your function booking. This is payable within 5 working days

of making the booking and secures the date and venue.The bond will be refunded the first working Monday after your function provided the minimum

bar spend has been reached and no damaged to the hotel occurred during the course of your function. When paying bond we also require the rules and regulation form signed and

submitted with bond payment.In the unlikely event the hotel is damaged in any way we will retain the $500 bond to cover

the cost of repairs.

Bond - $500 Refunded the first working Monday after your function.The hire fee is the cost of hiring the venue and is not refundable. Additional charges may apply

on public holidays. If the minimum bar spend is not reached we will retain the necessary amount from the bond.

DAMAGE

The Sefton hotel will take reasonable care, but will not accept responsibility for any damage, loss of any item before, during or after a function. All equipment hired for the use of the function must

be removed on completion of the function unless prior arrangement has been made with the function Coordinator. Sefton Hotel will not take any responsibility for any equipment left on the

premises once the function has concluded.Dress Regulations

Males must wear full length pants with enclosed shoes. No shorts, tree quarter pants, singlet’s, sleeveless tops, head wear or thongs permitted.



FUNCTION CONTRACTProof of Age

The Hotel is licensed to entertain guests from 18 years of age.The hotel has a strict proof of age policy and we recommend guests under the age of 25 supply a legal and current form of identification. Current RTA Proof of Age Card, Current Driver’s License &

Current PassportThe use of confetti is strictly prohibited and will incur an additional cleaning fee of $250 which will be

deducted from the bond. This includes small numbered confetti.Due to new conditions imposed on the Hoteliers license all driver licenses and other forms of

identification will be scanned on entry. In the unlikely event a member of your function is involved in a physical altercation or damage to the premises the file containing guest details will be handed over to the

police for further investigation. All entries will be deleted the first working Monday after the function.
