“We want to help you create wonderful memories. Lets us tailor the space to your needs, so whether your event is for exclusive use* or you would like a certain area for a smaller group, Hart Bar is where you celebrate!”

*Hart Bar is available every day and night of the week for exclusive use functions. Guests of all ages welcome. A minimum spend is required.

Seated receptions are able to cater for up to 70 people without a dance floor. The dance floor space can be made available with the removal of a table after the formalities.

Hart Bar offers a PA system and 4 x 1.8m stage which can be utilised by a band or DJ plus an in-house music system with pre built playlists to choose from. Three 60 inch wall mounted screens allow for images and videos to be displayed, wireless hand held microphone, lectern & free Wi-Fi if required.

A Photo Booth can be organised through Complete Hire at an extra cost.

Function Booking AgreementBooking Confirmation Tentative bookings are held for a period of 14 days, after this time the booking will be released. To confirm a booking a completed and signed booking agreement is required. If you are reserving the space for exclusive use at anytime a minimum spend is required, your credit card details along with 10% of the minimum spend total is also required to confirm your booking.Final Numbers Final numbers and menu selection are required 5 days prior to your event. This confirmed number will be the amount charged regardless of how many guests arrive on the day. Last minute changes up to 72 hours before your function will be considered but cannot be guaranteedCancellation Confirmed canapé and sit down bookings can be cancelled up to 7 days prior to the event and all deposits will be returned. Cancelling your event between 7-5 days prior to the event will result in your deposit being kept. A cancellation after this time will incur the following charge:5 days – 72 hours 25% 72 hours – 48 hours 50%Within 48 hours 100% (The percentage charged is of your total pre-ordered food and beverage, minus any deposit and payments already made.)Confirmed corporate and remembrance bookings can be cancelled up to 48 hours prior to the event and all payments returned. No other food or beverage may be brought onto the premises for consumption during the event.Decorations & Displays To avoid damage no items are to be attached to any wall surface. Table decorations are permitted however we ask that you do not use table scatters. Photos and presentations to be displayed on screen must be organised with your function coordinator prior to the event.Responsibility & Damage The Railway Hotel does not accept responsibility for damage or loss of any guests’ property left on the premises. Function organisers are financially responsible for any damages sustained to our venues property, fittings or equipment. Any damages will be charged to the credit card details provided if applicable.Dress Regulations & Zero Tolerance Policy Function guests are subject to the same Dress and Zero Tolerance Policies as all other guestsHart Bar has a firm clean, neat and tidy Dress Policy.

No clothing bearing gang colours, offensive logos or language, no work wear and no tracksuits. Appropriate footwear must be worn at all times. No work boots or ugg boots. Entry is ultimately at the discretion of door staff and management when looking at a patrons overall appearance.Hart Bar in conjunction with The Railway Hotel has a Zero Tolerance Policy with regards to the following:- Drugs- Disrespect/ Violence- DamageIf any patron brings drugs onto the premises, disrespects or is violent toward other patrons or staff and/or intentionally damages the venues property, fittings or equipment they will no longer be welcome in any part of the hotel.Responsible Service of Alcohol The Railway Hotel staff, by law must refuse to serve alcohol to any person that appears intoxicated or disorderly. Underage guests must be accompanied by a parent/ legal guardian. Under no circumstances are underage guest permitted to consume alcohol. If any guest is in breach of any of the above they will be asked to leave.Privacy Policy The Railway Hotel collects personal information to assist in the processing of reservations and delivery of services. The information is not shared with anyone other than the owners and your function coordinator. At any time you may ask for your personal details to be viewed or removed by contacting us by phone or email. All credit card details are destroyed after final payment has been made.
