Highlights of the new funding platform include:

> Revolving, committed funding facilities can be provided to companies that qualify for fi nancing

> Financing facilities will involve a common platform to facilitate the timing, cost effectiveness and ease of completion of transactions

> Funding will be provided on a match-funded basis in regards to both term and rate

> Transactions will not be formally rated, although transactions will be structured using published rating agency methodologies

> Financing will be provided on commercial terms

> There is no minimum transaction size

A public-private partnership between:

F-PIL* is an initiative that allows independent players to effi ciently access capital markets-type fi nancing

Providing a fi nancing option through an established platform, F-PIL is an economical and effi cient way to access the securitization markets for small and medium-sized fi nance and leasing companies, which may not have the expertise or transaction volume to cost-effectively establish their own program.

Assets eligible for fi nancing under F-PIL include:> Auto loan and lease contracts (including fl eet fi nancing programs)

> Equipment loan and lease contracts

> Dealer fl oorplan fi nancing for both auto and equipment

> Other asset classes will be considered on a case-by-case basis
