DANIEL KAMAUHEAD OF REAL ESTATE INVESTMENTS

Daniel is responsible for all of Fusion’s real estate developments in the East Africa region

He has over 6 years experience of investing and has worked on commercial, residential and industrial real estate projects, giving him a broad but detailed understanding of the East African Property development process - from property acquisition through, project structuring, assessment and appointment of project implementation teams and managing exit.

MICHELLE SMALLADVISORY BOARD – REAL ESTATE

A seasoned real estate professional who, until 2012, was an Acting Director of the Property and Tourism team at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development ('EBRD'). At EBRD Michele was responsible for the property and tourism team with commitments to the sector of over EUR 2 billion supporting a total of EUR 7.7 billion to 127 projects and annual commitments of between EUR 200 and 250million.

Over the last 14 years, Michele has structured and led the underwriting and implementation of several transactions (debt, mezzanine and equity). She represented the EBRD on the Investment Committee on real estate private equity funds where the bank is an LP and on supervisory boards of companies where the bank is an equity investor.

BETHUEL MUTAIINVESTMENT OFFICER

Bethuel works as an Investment Officer focusing on Real Estate and Infrastructure projects.

He is an experienced real estate project manager having worked on commercial and residential developments worth over Ksh.10 Billion.

Projects include: UAP Park Towers, (32 storey commercial office block in Upper hill Nairobi), UAP Nakawa Business Park (14 storey commercial office block in Kampala), Greenspan Mall and Housing (350,000sq ft Mall and 450 unit housing estate in Nairobi), Nextgen Mixed Use Development (500 Executive Apartments, 150,000 Sq.ft Shopping Mall and commercial offices in Nairobi) and Thika Greens Master Plan Development(1706 acres of housing including an 18-hole Championship Golf course).
