Media Player ConnectionConnecting a Compatible BluetoothDeviceYou can play media from a compatibleBluetooth device using the Bluetoothwireless connection.You can control the music playback withthe media app on a Bluetooth device orusing the FUSION-Link™ remote controlapp.1 Select the BT source.2 Select > DISCOVERABLE to

make the stereo visible to yourcompatible Bluetooth device.

3 Enable Bluetooth on your compatibleBluetooth device.

4 Bring the compatible Bluetooth devicewithin 10 m (33 ft.) of the stereo.

5 On your compatible Bluetooth device,search for Bluetooth devices.

6 On your compatible Bluetooth device,select the stereo from the list ofdetected devices.

7 On your compatible Bluetooth device,follow the on-screen instructions topair and connect to the discoveredstereo.When pairing, your compatibleBluetooth device may ask you toconfirm a code on the stereo. Thestereo does not display a code, but itdoes connect correctly when youconfirm the message on the Bluetoothdevice.

8 If your compatible Bluetooth devicedoes not immediately connect to thestereo, repeat steps 1 through 7.

The DISCOVERABLE setting is disabledautomatically after two minutes.Connecting an Apple® Device UsingAirPlay®

1 From the settings menu on your Appledevice, connect to the same wirelessnetwork as your compatible FUSION®

stereo.NOTE: You can connect some Appledevices to the network using a wiredEthernet connection, if applicable. Goto the Apple website for moreinformation.


2 On your Apple device, open the musicapp you want to stream to the stereo.

3 From the music app or program, select or , and select the name of the

stereo.4 If necessary, start playing music on the

app.The stereo changes to the AirPlaysource automatically and plays audiofrom your Apple device.

Playing MusicSetting the Tuner RegionYou must select the region you are in toreceive AM and FM stations properly.1 Select > SETTINGS > TUNER

REGION.2 Select the region you are in.Changing the Radio Station1 Select an applicable source, such as

FM.2 Select to select a tuning mode.

You can use Auto mode to scanstations, Manual mode to manuallytune to a station, and Preset mode toselect the next preset station.

3 Select or to tune to the station.

TIP: You can quickly save the selectedstation or channel as a preset byholding .

FUSION PartyBus NetworkingThe FUSION PartyBus networking featureallows you to connect multiple compatiblestereos and zone stereos together on anetwork, using a combination of wired orwireless connections.A FUSION PartyBus stereo, such as anApollo RA770 stereo, can stream sourcesto other FUSION PartyBus devicesconnected to the network. ConnectedFUSION PartyBus devices can alsocontrol media playback on the FUSIONPartyBus stereo. A FUSION PartyBuszone stereo, such as an Apollo SRX400zone stereo can stream from a FUSIONPartyBus stereo, but cannot streamsources to other FUSION PartyBusdevices on the network.You can connect up to eight FUSIONPartyBus devices on a network.

You can connect a FUSIONPartyBus zone stereo, such as an ApolloSRX400 zone stereo, to a single speakerzone

tocover a larger area with that stereo.FUSION PartyBus devices cannot controlthe speaker volume of another stereo. You

> WI-FI CLIENT > SSID.A list of wireless access points withinrage appears.

2 Select the FUSION PartyBus wirelessaccess point.

3 Select an option:• To enter the password, select

PASSWORD, enter the password,and select .

• If you are connecting to thewireless access point using WPS,verify that WPS has been enabledon the access point, and selectWPS.NOTE: It can take up to twominutes to successfully connect tothe access point after you selectWPS.

4 Select SAVE.


Streaming from a FUSION PartyBusNetwork DeviceBefore you can stream media from aFUSION PartyBus stereo, you mustconnect the device to the FUSIONPartyBus network using a wired orwireless connection. See the ApolloRA770 installation instructions.You can stream media from an ApolloRA770 stereo, but you cannot streammedia from another Apollo SRX400 zonestereo.NOTE: You cannot stream from a stereousing the Apple AirPlay source.1 Select .2 Press and hold the dial to select the

PARTYBUS tab.TIP: You can press and hold toquickly join the FUSION PartyBusnetwork.The device shows a list of availableFUSION PartyBus stereos on thenetwork.

3 Select the stereo you want to streamfrom.

The Apollo SRX400 zone stereo beginsstreaming the same source as the

connected FUSION PartyBus device, anda green border appears around the devicescreen. All media playback functions affectboth devices.Stopping Streaming from a FUSIONPartyBus Device on the NetworkIf you are streaming from a FUSIONPartyBus device on the network, you mustdisconnect from the device before you canplay local sources on the stereo.1 Select .2 Select PARTYBUS > LEAVE

DSP SettingsThis stereo features digital signalprocessing (DSP). You can select pre-configured DSP settings for FUSIONspeakers and amplifiers to optimize audioreproduction in their installed locations.All DSP settings are configured using theFUSION-Link remote control app. See theowner's manual for more information.


More InformationFUSION-Link Remote Control AppYou can use the FUSION-Link remotecontrol app on your compatible Apple orAndroid™ device to adjust the stereovolume, change the source, controlplayback, select and manage radiopresets, and adjust some stereosettings.You can use the app to set up andconfigure DSP profiles on the stereo.Youcan use the app to update the stereosoftware wirelesslyThe app communicates with the stereousing a wireless connection to the mobiledevice.
