Shelves are laminate or veneer plywood with its

front edge banded with 1⁄4” solid hardwood. Hidden

keyhole fasteners mount shelves to panels.

�T he tabletops of Fusion reading tables (square and

rectangular), PAC tables, index tables, study carrel

tables and display tables float 2” atop a sleek 16-gauge

steel frame. Comprised of 2” x 2” hollow legs and

horizontal stretchers, the frame secures to the

underside of tabletops via a steel pintel and plate

assembly. All welds and grinds are smoothed, and

each frame is painted using an electro-statically

applied epoxy powder for lasting resiliency.

Carrel legs are 16-gauge tubular steel, finished in

a powder epoxy and topped with a steel cap. Each is

fitted with keyhole screws to allow assembly in one-,

two-, three-, and four-way configurations.

�L aminated with a .050” thick high-pressure plastic

laminate and bordered with a 7⁄8” x 11⁄4” solid

hardwood edge, Fusion work surfaces are stylishly

designed for durability. Edges are radiused 1⁄2” at the

top and are eased at the bottom. A subtle 1⁄32” v-groove

detail highlights the juncture of laminate and solid.

�F ull panel study carrels are grade “A” select

veneered 1” particleboard, bordered with a 1⁄4” solid

hardwood band. Front edges are machined to receive

a 16-gauge tubular steel leg.

Index tables and study carrel tables feature a

floating rack assembly; their shelves are notched at

each end to embrace two to three sectional end panels.
