Current educational crisis is ubiquitous around the world. While societies as a whole have undergone the progression from the past industrial revolution to information technology breakthroughs, our education system has not been able to catch up with the rate and result of changes on human beings. Granted that the current education system remains stagnant, it is indubitable that individuals and society's ability to survive, compete, and therefore evolve, will eventually deteriorate significantly, calling for a universally frightening warning.
On the other hand, this warning echoes the positive implications of disrupting education. Once schools begin to provide students with ability to survive in the real world through education revolution, this will bring about a new cornerstone to our future, jam-packed with creativity. Future Class Network sheds a light on educational crisis in South Korea from a global perspective, innovates actionable breakthroughs, and thereafter presents various global initiatives to paradigm shift in education to empower the youths.Future Class Network fosters a bottom-up, organic disruptive education network, in which experts and practitioners from various fields collaborate in order to constantly create new, effective education reforms.

refers to replacing lecture-based classrooms with student-
oriented activities and was established in 2009 by Jon Bergmann and Aaron Sams,
who taught high school science in Colorado.
Future Class Network has worked with KBS(Korea Broadcasting Services) and two
elementary and middle schools in Busan, on applying flipped learning to Korean
classrooms for the first time. Our is not merely a
replication of America's Flipped Learning model, but an advanced model of disruptive
education, specifically catered to Koreas education system.
was created by applying principles of various global initiatives including P21s 21st
Education Framework, Newcastle University Professor Sugata Mitras SOLE, widely
renowned for his Hole in the Wall experiment, as well as the unique ways in which
Korean teachers communicate and collaborate. is so simple in
its form and fast in its effect that it was even referred to flipped classroom magic.
In August of 2013, the number of teachers who flipped their classrooms in Korea
reached to 9,796 from 3,091 in just 2 years and 7 months. Among teachers, is humorously described to have drug effects, since they can never go
back to their original way of running classes. Since is almost
entirely student-oriented, its forms vary as the number of teachers who apply flipped
classroom into their classes. community continues to to
expand in Korea and beyond.

The Worlds Biggest Class Project, as the name indicates, is a project in which
students identify and solve their community problems by applying what they learn
in their classroom. In the wake of a multitude of changes observed in academic
performance among students, teachers began to think of ways to connect academic
learning into real-life skills. Hence, The Worlds Biggest Class Project was first
established with the aim of empowering students to utilize their academic knowledge
into problem-solving skills. It applies core principles of Ashokas changemaker
and Stanford D-Schools design thinking, along with various global educational
philosophies. Currently, the project is constantly being developed by a group of
experts in various fields, including software and maker education.
The Worlds Biggest Class Project is a process of gaining self-esteem from a typical
state of teenage torpor. Students are no longer objects of merely accumulating
knowledge, but subjects of creating breakthroughs to real problems. Through this
process, students have shown a dramatic growth in satisfaction in life, as well as
motivation in academic learning.
Initially tested in 2015, The Worlds Biggest Class Project resulted in 25 successful
projects in 13 schools, some of which are described below. Now, The Worlds Biggest
Class Project is being implemented in 50 schools. Future Class Network aspires to
expand The Worlds Biggest Class Project across all regions and grades in Korea.

Future Class Network members constantly network, learn, and exchange information with each other through its web/mobile applications Team Bus and Future Class Network, both of which are available through iOS and Android devices. Here are the reasons why the teachers love using it:
Futurclass Web & Mobile Platform
01 Hub for new class contentsClasses are hard to design and run alone.
Through Future Class Network website/app,
teachers can access how other teachers are
applying flipped learning in their classes in
teaching similar academic subjects.
02 Soundingboard for new class activitiesNot sure about which activities to run with
students for tomorrows class? Teachers can post
ideas about student activities and receive real-
time feedback.
03 Platform for the latest news in education worldTeachers are constantly updated with whats
happening in the education field around the
globe. Forums allow teachers to exchange
opinions regarding different educational
methodologies, policies, and so on.
04 Sta ge fo r c re d i ts a n d concernsTeachers love talking about their students.
They also love expressing concerns. Team Bus
allows teachers to post their process and results
of their classes, as well as create chatrooms to
seek for advice.
