Westchester County Coin Club: Monthly Meetings at EPLThe Westchester County Coin Club holds its monthly meetings here at theEastchester Public Library. The club, which has been around since 1934, isfor numismatists, or collectors of U.S. and foreign coins, paper money,tokens, and medals.

Meetings are typically the 3rd Wednesday of each month, though the Septembermeeting will take place on Wednesday, September 6th. The meetings run from 7 - 8:30p.m. There is a "trading table" from 6:30 - 7 p.m. Light refreshments are served at eachmeeting, and the club generally holds a holiday party each December and a banquet eachspring.

Meetings are open to the public. WCCC membership is open to those who have attended atleast three meetings. Interested? Email [email protected] to subscribe to WCCC'smonthly newsletter. K - 2 Books & Snacks Club

Our K - 2 Books & Snacks Club will meet next on Wednesday, September13th. We will have two time slots to meet the high demand, one from 4 - 5p.m., one from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m.

We will read and discuss Camille Andros' Charlotte the Scientist isSquished, an engaging picture book about the scientific method. Readingout loud is optional. This will be followed by an activity. Refreshments willbe served.

The Chat & Color Book Club for adults will meet on Monday, September18th at 7 p.m.

Teen Programs for September (Grades 6 and up)

On Saturday, September 9th from 2 - 4:30 p.m., we will have aGaming Afternoon. Bring your own games or play some of theones we have set up.

We will have video games to play as well! Light refreshments will beserved!

On Monday, September 11th from 7 - 8 p.m., our Teen AdvisoryGroup will meet. This is your chance to give feedback about what types of books andprograms you'd like to see at the library.

On Wednesday, September 13th at 7 p.m., we will offer "Setting Your Clock for Success: ATime Management Workshop for Students, Grades 6 - 12 and Their Parents."

On Monday, September 18th from 7 - 8:15 p.m., we will have a Teen Room DecoratingNight. Come and decorate the room for the fall!

On Monday, September 25th from 7:15 - 8:30 p.m., we will have a Teen Potion and SlimeMaking Night. At this Harry Potter-themed event, teens will brew their own Polyjuice Potion.(According to Pottermore, this is a "complex and time-consuming concoction that is best left tohighly skilled witches and wizards!")
