FyreWrap® Elite® 1.5 - Duct Insulation

FyreWrap® Elite® 1.5 Duct insulation from Unifrax is a flexible insulation wrap

designed for creating fire protection enclosures for building ductwork systems.

Thin, lightweight and easy to install, FyreWrap Elite 1.5 systems offer

significant savings in installation time and overall system weight. The flexible

product form facilitates efficient installation where access to the duct is limited

or located in close proximity to other building services.

FyreWrap Elite has been tested and approved for use in a number of different

countries and approvals cover a range of duct types including HVAC,

pressurisation and kitchen extraction systems. Approvals include ASTM, BS,

ISO, EN and AS.

PRODUCT COMPONENTS

Core Material: Insulfrax Low Bio-persistence wool. Totally inorganic and

exonerated from classification under Nota Q of EU Directive 97/69/EC.

Encapsulation Scrim: Full encapsulation with an aluminium foil/glass fibre

reinforced aluminised polyester scrim. The scrim provides additional handling

strength in addition to providing protection against moisture absorption.
