Special Recruitment for Tirap, Changlang and Longding districts for the post of H/C (T) in Civil Police - 2018

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for recruitment to the post of Head-Constable (Telecom) against Civil Police in Arunachal Pradesh Police Department in the Scale of Pay Level-4 in the Pay Matrix (Rs.25,500 - 81, 100) under special recruitment drive for Tirap, Longding and Changlang districts. The details are given herein after:-

I . The posts of APST will be reserved only for APST candidates who are domicile of the respective district of Tirap, Longding and Changlang. The APST candidates applying in a particular district must be permanent resident of district concerned.

2. The posts of GENERAL will be only for the general candidates who are domicile of the respective districts of Ti rap, Longding and Changlang. The candidate should possess Temporary Residential Certificate or Permanent Residential Certificate or Class-X pass certificate from recognized educational institution of the districts (Tirap, Longding and Changlang) where he I she has applied for the post.

2. AGE ELIGIBLITY:· The age of candidate should be between 18 to 24 years as on 01-01-2018. Relaxation of upper age limit for APST candidates is given up to maximum of 5 (Five) years.

3. PHYSICAL STANDARD:

than 5 ems) NB: The candidates should be free from physical deformity/infirmity like squint eye, knock knee, bow leg, dismembered

fingers and any other physical deformity/infirmity which is likely to cause impediment to performance of active duty in police force. The candidates with such deformity/infirmity will be rejected during the Physical standards Test (PST).

4. CENTRES FOR RECRUITMENT:- The recruitment centre will be intimated through call letter and Arunachal Pradesh Police website.

5. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:· Class X (ten) Passed or equivalent with (Subject) English, Mathematics and

General Science. 6. APPLICATIONS FORM:· The application forms can be downloaded from the website of Arunachal Pradesh Police at

www.arunpol.nic.in. 7. SCHEDULE OF RECRUITMENT:·

i. Receipt of applications: Duly filled up application forms accompanied by attested copies of certificates of educational qualification, proof of age as per school certificate/Admit card/Birth registration certificate, Caste/Tribe certificate, Permanent Residential Certificate (PRC)/Temporary Residence Certificate (TRC)/class­X passed certificate of the district and 4 (four) recent passport size colour photographs with self signature on them (one affixed on the application form at space provided and 03 (three) nos. (Securely enclosed in an envelope) with self signature on backside and self addressed reply envelop affixed with postage stamp of Rs. 5/- will be received w.e.f 02-04-2018 at respective SP, Office, Khonsa, Longding and Changlang on all working days. A treasury challan of Rs. 10/- for APST candidates and Rs.40/- for General candidates in favour of Asstt Inspector General of Police (E), PHO, Itanagar under Head of Account "0055" Police, should be also enclosed.

The application forms can either be sent by ordinary post addressed to: (i) Applicants of Tirap District -Superintendent of Police, Tirap District, PO/PS- Khonsa, PIN - 786630 (ii) Applicants of Longding District -Superintendent of Police, Longding District, PO/PS-Longding, PIN- 786630 (iii) Applicants of Changlang District - Superintendent of Police, Changlang District, PO/PS - Changlang, PIN-792120 or directly submit by hand at their respective SP Office viz, SP Office Tirap, SP Office Longding, SP Office Changlang.

ii. Last date of receipt of applications: 02-05-2018. No application shall be accepted after expiry of last date of submission i.e., 02-05-2018 up to 1600 hrs.

iii. Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Tests (PET): Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Tests (PET) (qualifying in nature) shall be carried out at the designated recruitment centre which will be intimated through call letter and Police website. List of accepted/rejected candidates and date & time for PST I PET will be uploaded in APP website at www.arunpol.nic.in.

iv. Written Examination: Written examination shall be conducted centrally for only those candidates who successfully qualify the physical efficiency tests at the designated centre. The date, time and venue will be notified separately for this purpose.

8. SELECTION PROCEDURE:-i. PHYSICAL ENDURANCE/EFFICIENCY TEST: - The short listed candidates whose application/documents are

found in order in all respects and who are found fit in Physical Standard Test (PST) will be put through physical efficiency test in the following events.

NB: The physical efficiency/endurance test will be qualifying in nature. However; candidates who do not qualify the minimum qualifying standard in any of the above events shall be treated as "disqualified" for the written examination.

ii. WRITIEN EXAMINATION: • The eligible candidates of physical efficiency test will be put through written test in the following subjects.

Total 300 marks NB:-

a. The written examination will be of Multiple Choice Objective Type question paper on OMR format answer script.

b. The minimum pass marks in written examination will be 45% in aggregate and 33% in each subject. c. There will be no negative marking.

iii. MERIT LIST: - The final merit list of the selected candidates will be made on the basis of marks secured in the written test.

iv. MEDICAL EXAMINATION AND CHARACTER & ANTECEDENT VERIFICATION;,: Appointment of provisionally selected candidates shall be subject to undergo Medical Examination with satisfactory result conducted by a Medical Board nominated by the state govt. and satisfactory verification of Character & Antecedent.

9. ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS FOR EX-SERVICEMEN:-i) Previous Service: - Ex-Servicemen (APST Candidates) should be from corps of signals, Army I Air force I Navy

I Assam Riffes I ITBP I BSF I CRPF I SSB I NSG as Operators/Technician Grade-Il l pass with satisfactory record of service and those who have retired voluntarily from service with fu ll benefits will be only eligible.

ii) Age:- Age concession for ex-servicemen will be allowed in accordance with orders issued by the Govt. from time to time and they will be allowed deduct military service from their actual age and such resultant age should not exceed the prescribed age limit by more than three years as on 01-01-2018.

iii) Physical Efficiency Test: • Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempted from taking part in Physical endurance/efficiency test (PET).

iv) Others:· The other conditions and criteria viz. Physical Standard Test, educational qualification and Written test shall be same as in the case of APST fresh candidates.

Though police department shall arrange first aid at recruitment centre for emergencies, the department shall not be responsible for any personal damage/injury to the candidates during the recruitment process/physical endurance efficiency test.

No T AIDA will be admissible to the candidates for attending in the recruitment process. The candidates shall have to bear their own expenses and arrange for their boarding/lodging on their own.
