Our range of grasses look great all year round, saving you time, money & effortwhen compared to maintaining a natural lawn. To ensure your grass looksperfect, it does occasionally require simple maintenance. If you would prefer to have your artificial grass regularly maintained by aprofessional team, contact us on 01908 794889.

Brushing Your Grass

Remove debris (e.g. leaves) with a power-brusher, leaf flower or plasticrake.

Brush your grass upwards (against the pile) with a stiff brush or plastic raketo remove seeds dropped by seeds. This prevents seeds germinating andleading to weeds growing on the surface of the grass.

Straighten the fibres of your grass by brushing against the pile using a stiffbrush. Flattening of the fibres may occur in areas of high foot-traffic,especially if fibres have become soiled with dirt and other airbornepollutants.

Periodically ‘cross-brush’, meaning brushing against the grain of the turffibres to restore the aesthetic appearance of the turf.

Always use a brush with synthetic bristles & avoid using a brush with metalbristles.

2. Caring For Your Grass

Remove any weeds immediately to prevent dispersal of seeds.

Treat lightly-soiled areas with a 5% solution of household detergent in hotwater (not boiling), followed by a thorough rinsing with hot water.

Remove any solids or pastes with a spatula or table knife.

Blot up excess liquids with paper towels, clean cloth, or a dry absorbent. Dryabsorbents can then be swept or vacuumed up afterwards.

Do Not use cleaners that contain harsh chemicals such as chlorine bleachesor highly acidic cleaners (PH<5).

Pet excrement or smells can be removed using a hand-shovel.

Spray diluted pet-friendly antibacterial solution onto your grass area if usedregularly by pets.

Avoid contact with hot materials to prevent shrinkage of turf fibres.

Do not install grass close to glass structures such as outdoor mirrors, asreflected heat can lead to heat-damage & shrinkage of fibres.

Furniture with sharp edges should not be placed on the turf as they maypuncture or tear the Artificial Grass.

Lighted cigarettes cannot ignite the turf, but they can damage the turf byfusing the tips of the fibres together.

Straighten the fibres of your grass by brushing against the pile using a stiffbrush.
