Savvius Insight Savvius Insight is a compact, quad-core, six-port appli-ance (177 x 44 x 146 mm). It has two 1 Gbps full-duplex tap ports for monitoring inline with an Internet connection, an Ethernet management port, and three additional ports for monitoring internal networks.

Savvius Insight contains the Savvius Capture Engine for Omnipeek running under Linux. The box comes with Omnipeek Insight, which acts as a console, but is locked to

the hardware. If the IP address of a Splunk server is provid-ed, Savvius Insight automatically feeds statistics to it. Addi-tionally, a write-to-disk capture can be started at any time.

The high-performance architecture of the Omnipliance turn-key solutions enables the best possible analysis of1/10/40G network segments but needs only half of the space, cooling and electricity, compared to most compe- titive products. Management, confi guration and version updates are amazingly easy. In general, the uncomplicat-ed support of Savvius results in only perfectly satisfi ed customers.

Omnipliance CX is the entry into the world of Savvius turnkey solutions with 1U and 4/8/16 TB of storage. Omnipliance CX comes equipped with a 4 Port 1G High Performance Adapter. Suffi cient for monitoring of two 1G links with an average utilization of up to 3 Gbit/s.

Omnipliance MX is the mid-range workhorse model available with 16 or 32 TB of storage space. Omnipliance MX can include up to four 1G or 10G High Performance Adapters or any combination of both. Suffi cient for moni-toring of aggregated links with an average utilization of 5-6 Gbit/s, providing a further 3-4 Gbit/s buffer to intercept peaks.

Omnipliance TL is the fl agship extension to Omnipeek Enterprise. With only three rack units but a sustained recording rate of 16 Gbit/s, it is the current leader in per-formance for cost in the high end range. Omnipliance TL is available in variations of 32, 48 and 64 TB storage and can be fi tted with up to four 1G, 10G or 40G High Perfor-mance Adapters in any combination. Additional external storage is also available in units of 32, 48 and 64 TB. An Omnipliance TL together with an external storage system is able to record a sustained rate of more than 18 Gbit/s real world provider traffi c, without missing anything. In doing so, depending on the storage expansion, suffi cient

buffer for interception of traffi c peaks is still available.

1G (High Performance) Adapter for Omniplianceis a PCI express network analysis card which is able torecord up to two gigabit links in full duplex or four gigabitlinks in half duplex mode. The 1G HP Adapter may befi tted optionally with SR, LR or copper SFP.

10G (High Performance) Adapter for Omniplianceis a PCI express network analysis card, available withtwo or four optical 10G interfaces and may be fi ttedoptionally with SR or LR SFP+.

40G (High Performance) Adapter for Omniplianceis a one-port PCI express network analysis card, fi ttedwith an optical QSPF+.

WLAN USB Capture AdapterSavvius WiFi Adapter for Omnipeek is a USB stick which supports recording on all wireless standards, including

802.11a/b/g/n/ac (2-stream, for 3-stream up to 450 Mbit/s we offer a separate adapter). With two or more adapters you can record on multiple channels at the same time and perform roaming analysis on both Layer 2 and Layer 7.
