Galileo NeatAgent™ Agent Quick Reference

Welcome to Galileo NeatAgent™ Agent Quick Reference. Galileo NeatAgent™ is the only traditional travel agency booking tool that enables agents to build individually customized packages on-the-fly using exclusive net rate inventory that can compete with online travel portals while empowering agencies to add their own package markup and determine the selling price. This quick reference explains the procedures the front line agent performs when using Galileo NeatAgent™. Refer to this quick reference for description and procedures for:

• Log in • Search and book packages • Save a package • Review prior bookings • View sales reports • Log out

Log In

To log in:

1. On your browser, go to www.galileoneatagent.com The Galileo NeatAgent™ Home page appears.

2. Type the User ID that your agency administrator assigned to you.

3. Tab to the Password box and type the password that your agency assigned to you.

4. Click Log In.

• If the Update Password page appears, go to step 5.

• If the Search page appears, you are ready to use Galileo NeatAgent™.

5. Type a new password which is at least six characters, and then type it again to confirm it.

6. Click Update Password.

The Search page appears.

Search and Book Packages

Booking a package consists of four basic steps:

1. Specify search criteria.

2. Evaluate search results.

3. Select and customize the package.

4. Book the package.

Step 1: Specify Search Criteria

Use the Search page to specify the components of the package, types of travelers and destination. After you log in, the Search page automatically appears. You can also get to this page any time by clicking the New Search link which is on the left side of the page.

1. From the E-Pack drop-down list, select the appropriate package. Packages consist

of any combination of air, car and hotel segments. Note: The Search page will reformat to display only the components you have selected. This example walks you through a package that contains air, hotel and car components.

2. From the Adults drop-down list, select the number of adult travelers.

3. From the Children drop-down list, select the number of children. Galileo NeatAgent™ opens a drop-down box for each child specified. Select the child’s age from the drop-down list.

Flight

4. In the Origin box, type the city code or name. Note: Your system may have been

set up with a default origin.

5. In the Destination box, do one of the following:

• Type the city code or name.

• Click the International link to select a destination outside the USA. Galileo NeatAgent™ then automatically populates the Destination box with the correct code.

6. For Departure, select the appropriate month, date and time.

7. For Return, select the appropriate month, date and time.

8. From the Airline drop-down list, select the desired airline. When multiple options are required, hold down the Ctrl key before clicking the options. For the broadest search, keep default of Any Airline.

Hotel

9. If the traveler needs the hotel different dates than the air dates, click the Different

dates for check in/ check out box.

10. The hotel location defaults to the center of the city. To select other locations, click the Select another location link. The Hotel Location dialog box appears.

11. Select another location from the drop-down list, and then click Select.

12. You can refine your search by selecting:

• Hotel Class

• Hotel Brand

• Hotel Amenities

When multiple options are required, hold down the Ctrl key before clicking the options. For the broadest search, keep defaults for above on Any Class for Hotel Class, Any Brand for Hotel Brand and No Preference for Hotel Amenities.

13. If you wanted a specific hotel, type the name in the Hotel Name box.

Car Rental

14. If the traveler needs the car different dates than the air dates, click the Different

dates for pickup / return box.

15. Select Car Class from the drop-down list.

16. Select Rental Car Brand.

When multiple options are required, hold down the Ctrl key before clicking the options. For the broadest search, keep defaults for Rental Car Brand on Any Brand.

17. Click Continue to begin the packaging process based on your search criteria.

Note: For both flight origin and destination, if you had typed a city name that had more than has more than one airport, Galileo NeatAgent™ displays an airport list when you click the Continue button. Select the desired airport and click the Continue button again.

While Galileo NeatAgent™ is searching for packages, the Searching page appears.

Step 2: Evaluate Search Results

When Galileo NeatAgent™ completes processing your search request, it displays the Search Results page which contains a list of package options sorted by price. For example if you selected air, car and hotel as your components, each package option represents a different hotel bundled with the cheapest air and car component. In this example, based on the search criteria, Galileo NeatAgent™ found ten different hotels bundled with the cheapest air and car components.

Every package displays with a total price including tax and markup and the average price per traveler. For each requested component, a basic description of the component is included. There is a choice of the following on the Search Results page.

Determine agency earnings 1. Click Price link in front of package price. Agency Earnings box appears.

2. View earnings.

Add a price override 1. Click Price link in front of package price. Agency Earnings box appears.

2. Type override in Update Override box.

3. Click the Update button. A Message box appears asking you if you want to update the override.

4. Click OK. Agency Earnings box redisplays with new amount.

5. Click Close to close the Agency Earnings box.

View map of the hotel’s location Click View Map.

Change the hotel, air, car options type

1. Click a more link.

2. Perform the desired action or click the Back button on the browser to return to the Search Results page.

Step 3: Select and Customize

Once you have reviewed the package options, it is now time to select the best match. Note: If you have changed the air, car or hotel option in the previous step, you should already have the E-Pack Detail page displayed with your selected package. If not, follow the instructions below.

On the Search page, click the Select and Customize button of the best match. The E- Pack Details page appears. This is where you can find details on all components of the package you selected.

There is a choice of the following options on the E-Pack Details page.

Click Rules and Restrictions link.

Determine agency earnings 1. Click Price link in front of package price. Agency Earnings box appears.

2. View earnings.

Add a price override 1. Click Price link in front of package price. Agency Earnings box appears.

2. Type override in Update Override box.

3. Click the Update button. A Message box appears asking you if you want to update the override.

4. Click OK. Agency Earnings box redisplays with new amount.

5. Click Close to close the Agency Earnings box.

View photo of property Click View Photos link.

Change the hotel, air, car options type

1. Click a more link.

2. Perform the desired action or click the Back button on the browser to return to the Search Results page.

Select or waive purchase of travel insurance

Check or uncheck the Add travel insurance box.

Click the Top Reasons to Purchase Travel Insurance link.

Waive the service fee Uncheck the service fee box.

Change the service fee 1. Click the Change link. Change Service Fee dialog box appears.

2. Type new fee.

3. Click Update button. Message box appears asking you if you want to update the service fee.

4. Click OK. A Message box notifying you that your service fee has been changed appears along with a note that corresponding changes to travel insurance and travel insurance markup have also been made.

5. Click the Close button.

Print or fax a copy of itinerary Click Print button.

Send an e-mail of the itinerary with your comments and suggestions

Click E-Mail button.

Save the itinerary for a deferred purchase

Click Save button.

Return to Search Results page Click Search Results button.

Change original search criteria Click Modify Search button.

• To continue the booking process, click the Continue button. The E-Pack Purchase page appears.

Step 4: Book the Package

This is the last step in purchasing a package through Galileo NeatAgent™. The Purchase page displays a summary of the selected package and the breakdown of pricing including package price, insurance and service fees.

1. Carefully review the details of the package to be purchased.

2. Enter traveler details in the appropriate boxes.

3. Enter credit card information.

• For added security a credit card verification number is required. Click the Card Verification # link for more information on where it is located on credit cards.

4. Select seat preferences for the first traveler.

• Additional travelers will be assigned adjacent seats.

5. Read the rules and restrictions and confirm acceptance. All packages are non-refundable, non-changeable and non-transferable.

6. To complete the purchase, click Purchase. The E-Pack Confirmation page appears.

7. You have the following options:

• Print the E-Pack Confirmation

• E-mail the E-Pack Confirmation

Save a Package

Galileo NeatAgent™ allows you to save a package without purchasing it. However, because the packages use real-time inventory, there is no guarantee that the exact package will be available when you retrieve the package again. You will also need to reprice the package when you retrieve it because prices are not guaranteed until purchased, paid in full and you receive a confirmation e-mail message.

To save a package:

1. From either the Search page or E-Pack Details page, click the Save button. Save E-Pack dialog box appears.

2. Type the first and last names which are the required fields. Note: You can also

give your itinerary a name which you can use later to retrieve it.

3. Click Save. A Message Box appears recapping the client information and informing you that the E-Pack has been saved.

4. Click the Close button. The E-Pack has been saved.

Review Prior E-Pack

Galileo NeatAgent™ allows you to view packages. You can view both:

• Saved but not purchased packages.

• Purchased packages.

To view these packages:

1. Click the Prior E-Packs link on left side of main pages. The Find Prior E-Packs dialog box appears.

2. From the drop-down list, select one of the following:

All

Saved

Purchased

3. There are now three options. You can:

Sell a saved package

Delete a saved package

Review a purchased package

Sell a Saved Package

To sell a saved package:

1. In the Find Prior E-Packs dialog box, type the confirmation code, itinerary name or first traveler’s last name.

2. Click the Continue button. Information on the package appears below the dialog box.

3. Click icon to reprice package Saved E-Pack Reprice page appears. a. Click Reprice button at bottom of Saved E-Pack Reprice page.

E-Pack Details page appears. b. Continue booking the package following the normal steps. (See “Step 3:

Select and Customize” earlier in the quick reference)

Delete a Saved Package

To delete a saved package:

1. In the Find Prior E-Packs dialog box, type the confirmation code, itinerary name or first traveler’s last name.

2. Click the Continue button Information on the package appears below the dialog box.

3. Click icon to delete package.

Review a Purchased Package

To view a purchased package:

1. Type confirmation code or last name.

2. Click the Continue button. Information on the package appears below the dialog box.

3. Click icon for package details. .

View Sales Reports

In Galileo NeatAgent™, you can view a sales report for the packages you sold.

To view a sales report for a specific package you sold:

1. Click the Sales Reports link on the left side of main pages.

2. Specify dates of reports.

3. Click Retrieve. The Travel Agency Sales Report appears which includes:

• Total sale

• Preset markup

• Service fees

• Overrides

• Insurance markup

• Total earnings

4. Click the Confirmation # link of specific package. The E-Pack Information page appears containing reservation details as well as agency-retained fees.

5. Click the First Traveler Full Name link to see more passenger information. The Passenger Info page appears.

6. Close the Passenger Info page, then close the E-Pack Information page.

Log Out

To log out:

• Click the Log Out link on the left side of any of the main pages.
