New Afram Vessel Makes Maiden Call at Port ofHoustonThe M/V CORPUS CHRISTI, operated by Afram Lines (U.S.A.)Company Ltd., recently made its maiden voyage to the Port of

¯ Houston Authority’s Turning Basin Terminal. Afram purchasedthe CORPUS CHRISTI from the U.S. military and restored theship. While in Houston, the vessel discharged militaryhousehold goods from Belgium. The Military Sealift Commandchartered the combination vessel after its Houston call. Biehl& Company is agent for Afram.
