The Wheel of WoW

Page 3: Game kk

In order to spin the wheel of wow, one must first pay $100. Then step right up and spin

THE WHEEL OF WOW! If one lands on a number, that is the

amount of money that they win. The possibilities are $115, $125, and $150.

HOWEVER… if they land on the crossbones… THEN THEY

LOSE THEIR MONEY! Mwahahahahahahahahahahah

Page 6: Game kk

Theoretically, there is a house advantage of $2.50 and there is a standard deviation of

$49.80. This means that every time the wheel is spun, on average the house wins $2.50. After running 50 trials of the game, there is an experimental player advantage of $.90 and the standard deviation lowered

to $43.96. Although these numbers are different, the calculations of each are not

too far off and according to the law of large numbers, if we were to do more trials the numbers of the experimental trials should approach the theoretical probability. If we

wanted to create a larger house advantage, we could weigh the wheel to make it land on $0 more frequently or we could slightly

adjust the sizes of the spaces to make it appear a little more likely to land on

amounts other than $0.
