1 CHILDREN’S BIBLE LESSON

Parents: God told Adam to name the animals that were created, and Adam did name them. Adam real-ized that all the animals were created male and female, but he was alone. Adam was lonely.

Parents: Have your child connect the dots on the two pictures, then write down the name of each animalunder the picture. Color each animal. Ask: Are there males and females of these animals?

God makes a wife for Adam.

Parents: God saw that it was a bad thing for Adam to be lonely. So God put Adam in a deep sleep andtook one of his ribs and made a woman. When Adam woke up, he wasn’t by himself anymore. Do youknow what Adam’s wife was named?

Adam and Eveare happy together.

4LEVEL K / LESSON 2

Parents: Adam and his wife live happily in the Garden. God is with them and instructs them to take careof the Garden.

5 CHILDREN’S BIBLE LESSON

The Tree of LifeParents: God put two trees in the Garden and told Adam and Eve about both of them. The Tree of Liferepresented God’s way of life. If Adam and Eve would eat the fruit of this tree, they would live forever.

6LEVEL K / LESSON 2

Parents: This tree represents man making up his own mind about what’s right or wrong, without God’shelp. Color these two trees using colors that represent God’s way and then man’s way.

God says, "Don’t eat this fruit."

7 CHILDREN’S BIBLE LESSON

Parents: God instructed Adam and Eve not to touch or eat the fruit of the tree of knowledge of goodand evil because, if they did, they would surely die.

Satan tempts Eve.

8LEVEL K / LESSON 2

Parents: Satan was very bad and it was his goal to fool Eve and trick her into eating the fruit from thetree of knowledge of good and evil. Satan took the form of a serpent and lied to Eve by telling herthat if she ate the fruit, she would not die.

9 CHILDREN’S BIBLE LESSON

They both eat the fruit.Parents: Eve was deceived into believing that the fruit was good. (She believed Satan the serpent andtook the fruit to Adam. They both ate, and their eyes were opened to know good from evil without rely-ing on God.)

10LEVEL K / LESSON 2

God sends them from the Garden.

Parents: God was unhappy that Adam and Eve disobeyed Him, but because He had compassion forthem, He banned them from coming back into the Garden and eating from the Tree of Life. God madeclothes for them from animal skins and put a flaming sword at the entrance to the Garden. Adam andEve went to live in the wilderness instead and became farmers.
