Samuel Garnick Va®!@+|Ø^$- This is the large print project. I used photoshop to cre-ate a variations print. The original images are of an airplane in differ-ent stages of take offs and landings.

Readmade rDNA- For this project I used keynote with various anima-tions to create a one minute long movie. It was interesting to see how that duration of a movie could be created from four slides. Keynote is definitely a better choice for slideware over powerpoint.

Thirteen ways of Looking at a Blackbird- In this project I used only letter characters to create images in illustrator. Each frame represents a stanza of the poem, “Thirteen Ways of Looking a Blackbird.” It was easier to get the message across then I originally imagined.

Mandala of the Elements-This project started by making geome-try with just a ruler and compass. Turns out you can make many different shapes with just these tools. My project represents the element, “Earth,” by showing two islands in a body of water.

Exquisite Corpse Digital Round Robin- This was a very interest-ing project. I started with a scan of a wrench, a book of matches, and an ear plug. After two other students modified the image in photoshop it turned into this. This project might have turned out more interesting had the class planned together.
