During my employment with Balfour Beattie Utility Solutions and Babcock International, I have obtained the qualifications and experience necessary to act as an Authorised Person on 132/275/400kv Systems. I hold certification which allows me to:
Work on isolated plant and apparatus, including work adjacent to live apparatus. Application and removal of drain earths to overhead conductors. Continuous tension stringing of earth wires under single circuit outage conditions on
double circuit 132/275/400kv overhead lines.
I also hold a Level 2 National Vocational Qualification in electricity system technology engineering support
My skills and experience allow me to competently complete a wide range of tasks in the high voltage transmission industry. I have also completed current, and am up to date, in training in the following areas:
