Gas Turbine RemanufacturingThomassen Energy is able to globally source GE-design

heavy-duty gas turbines to remanufacture and upgrade

them at our facility in Rheden in the Netherlands.

Remanufactured units are offered at attractive prices.

Within our gas turbine remanufacturing program we

integrate custom solutions such as emission reductions,

control system upgrades and extended lifetime programs

on for example the gas turbine rotor.

Purchasing Pre-owned EquipmentWe use our offices and Customer contacts to source

turbines suitable for remanufacturing. We do this on a

turnkey basis including:

• dismantling the unit (if necessary)

• transportation to our Rheden site

• total overhaul of gas turbines and generators including

the supply of new electrical systems

• a new enclosure, steel structures, ducting, inlet filters,

exhaust stacks

• performance testing

• transport to site and installation

• start up and commissioning of the turbine or

total plant.

We can also provide remanufactured turbines as part

of a complete combined-cycle plant on a turnkey basis.

In addition we can offer remanufactured turbines to

existing plants on long- or short-term leases.

Overhauls, Upgrades and TestingWe overhaul and refurbish turbines and generators at our

Rheden facility which is certified to ISO 9001 standards.

For the remanufacturing of gas turbines strict procedures

are used. This guarantees a remanufactured machine

that operates according to clearly defined parameters for

your maximum benefit. In addition design improvements,

new materials and the latest coating technologies can be

incorporated to enhance output, reliability and efficiency.

Your special requirements will be integrated with custom

designed solutions.

On-site InstallationWith more than 300 systems in operation we have

unrivalled experience of installation. We regularly deal with

specific requirements related to:

• civil foundations

• mechanical installation

• field wiring and piping

• commissioning and start-up

• manufacture and installation of site-specific equipment,

such as water-wash systems, hi-tech dosing systems,

steam injection and fuel forwarding skids

• anti-icing systems.

Operation and MaintenanceAfter commissioning of the remanufactured turbine we

offer a Flexible Service Agreement to cover the turbine,

generator, load gear box and auxiliary equipment, as well

as maintenance for the entire plant. Remanufactured gas

turbines offer considerable advantages that make them

highly competitive:
