The Gate Tower is going to be the tallest building in Chicago,

a sustainable building with an energy generator, that

provides energy to other buildings.

Gate Tower would be a place where many activities can

happen since its a multifunctional building with housing,ofces, cultural services, hotel, and comerce and green

spaces.

 

The design is based in genarating a gate to the city, using

two vertical volumes that entertwine one another, creating

an abstract gate representing the entrace to the city.

In between the two towers passes the bridge N Lakeshore

Drive, wich is a very transitaded street. The gap between the

two towers represent the entrance to the city
